Who We Are

BOLD Scholars

BOLD Scholars are students who are female or identify as women. Selected their sophomore year to participate their junior and senior years, these students possess exceptional leadership abilities, critical thinking skills, and the willingness to become agents of change in their campus community and after graduation. 

BOLD is committed to supporting young women from all backgrounds and especially those who have been significantly underrepresented in higher education in terms of socioeconomic class, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship and ability.

 

Partners

The BOLD Women's Leadership Network operates at six institutions of higher education: Colby-Sawyer College, The College of Saint Rose, Ithaca CollegeMiddlebury College, Rutgers University—Newark, and the University of Connecticut. Each partner institution is led by a woman president at the time of their selection who has demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion throughout her career and/or has significant female administrative leadership.
